We often struggle with life transitions and these changes are frequently what bring people into therapy. It requires a large amount of energy and courage to adapt to a new situation. A move to a new city, state or country, the loss or change of a job or significant relationship, receiving a scary diagnosis or entering a new phase of life can all disrupt our equilibrium and leave us of out of balance. Reaching out for support while we continue on our life journey takes wisdom and courage. O n the other-side of each challenging circumstance is the potential for greater insight, new perspective, growth and, ultimately, renewed balance.
